Rodda’s Classic Cornish Clotted Cream
Eliza Jane Rodda started making Cornish Clotted Cream in her farmhouse kitchen back in 1890
The Rodda family have continued the tradition to this day and are still crafting their unctuous clotted cream on the family farm in the same way. The crowning glory of Rodda’s has always been it’s delicious golden crust, which is especially rich and delicate because of the quality of the milk used in its production and the way in which it is baked.
The crust is a sign of quality and can be compared to full cream (gold top) milk, where all the tasty bits rise to the surface. It also forms a protective seal of freshness for the delicious, silky cream below and it’s how you know you’ve found an authentic Cornish Clotted Cream.
Rodda’s Cornish Clotted Cream is shipped frozen to extend life and carefully thawed to retain its thick and dollopable consistency. It is available in a variety of case configurations, from individual 20g portions through to retail sized 113g pots and 907g tubs for catering and food service use.
