We’ve been flying the flag for great British cheese since 1990.

What started in a townhouse in Taunton has grown into a thriving business exporting award-winning cheese to over 50 countries around the world. We’re proud to work with some of the UK and Ireland’s best producers — many of them family-run and steeped in tradition — to bring high-quality, great-tasting cheese to major retailers like Whole Foods in the US and Coles in Australia.

With nearly 35 years under our belt, our team is based just outside Wellington in Somerset, where we handle everything from cold storage to global logistics. Each week, our cheeses head out across the world — including regular shipments to New York — making Somerdale the leading exporter of British cheese to the USA.

Our focus is on flavour, heritage, and innovation. Whether it’s farmhouse cheddar, classic Stilton, or new blends for changing tastes, we work closely with our partners to deliver something truly special.
