Cheddar is one of the world’s biggest-selling cheese variety and the Westminster brand is known worldwide as being among the very finest examples.
Our cheese is lovingly made by some of the most respected cheddar-making families in the world, including the oldest!
These families have spent over 170 years perfecting their traditional craft.
Westminster cheddars are available in both retail packaged and bulk/deli formats (dependent on location).
Westminster Rustic Red
Rustic Red is made in the same traditional way as our other flagship cheddars but with two subtle additions, annatto and helveticus culture.
Annatto imparts a beautiful vibrant colour which stands out on the shelf. It also slightly dries the curds to make a more concentrated, sweeter flavour. The helveticus cultures (indigenous to the Alpine region of Europe) give wonderful sweet, nutty tones with hints of an Appenzeller.

Westminster Reserve Cheddar
Westminster Reserve is a very special cheddar!
Featuring naturally formed explosions of calcium lactate and a heavenly cheddar bite, Westminster Reserve is aged for over two years to ensure the ultimate satisfaction for any lover of strong cheese. Bursting with flavour, as the cheese develops you will experience hints of citrus fruits that will leave you wanting more.
Westminster Reserve is an excellent choice for a dinner party cheeseboard. Pair the cheese with a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon or, a fruity Zinfandel for the ultimate tasty partnership. This strong cheddar also goes well with a Wheat Beer or classic IPA.

Westminster Smoked Cheddar
Naturally smoked over rustic oak chips and aged for over 12 months.
This ensures the delicious cheddar retains its creamy mouth-watering taste while offering a hint of smoke without being too overpowering.
Try pairing Westminster Smoked cheddar with an apple or pear cider which will cleanse your palate in between bites, leaving you to enjoy that deliciously oak-smoked flavour.

Westminster Gold Hill Cheddar
Named after a famous cobbled street in the Dorset town of Shaftsbury, Gold Hill Cheddar is aged over 12 months to produce a mature and slightly sweet cheddar with a clean aroma.
A fantastic example of traditional English Cheddar making, Gold Hill is the perfect addition to your cheeseboard, bursting with flavour.

Westminster Vintage Cheddar
A super-strong and powerful cheese with a punchy kick, our Vintage Cheddar will satisfy the tastebuds of even the most hardcore cheddar fanatic. Aged for over 15 months, the cheddar features a distinctive texture, thanks to its naturally formed salt crystals, that is balanced with a touch of creaminess. The perfect balance of strong, savoury flavours without being too overpowering.

Westminster Cave Aged Cheddar is a rich, full-bodied cheddar with distinctive earthy and nutty notes developed during the maturation process.
